How to use The privacy screen must be secured in the
ground or to a railing according to the
assembly instructions. Pegs for fastening the
privacy screen to soft surfaces and straps for
attaching to a balcony or terrace railing are
included. Screws for hard surfaces like wooden
decks are not included. Different materials
require different types of fixing devices. For
recommendations on suitable fixing devices,
contact your local specialised retailer. Only recommended for outdoor use. Do not use in strong winds. To maintain the stability of the privacy screen,
re-tighten the screws at least once per season.
Care instructions
To clean the privacy screen, wipe it with a mild
soapy solution. Its not recommended to clean
plastic or metal products with a strong cleaner
or an abrasive material since it may discolour or
damage the surface.
Repair: The frame is painted with a powder coating
of plastic paint. If for some reason the coating
comes off, the frame is not protected and this may
result in rust. To repair the damage, wipe clean and
repaint to restore the protection.
Storage: During off-season, store in a cool and dry
place indoors.
Disposal
If you wish to dispose of the privacy screen, do
not throw it out with your household waste. Take
it to a recycling centre. There, recyclable materials
and other materials can be disposed of safely. Ask
your local IKEA store or your local authority where
a recycling location is in your area. Dispose of the
packaging materials in the provided collection
