Preparation and Safety
To pan fry from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking.Before cooking: Remove all packaging and allow steak to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rub with 5ml of oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Preheat frying pan to a moderate heat.During cooking: Cooking times for rare are 14 minutes, medium 15 minutes and well done 18 minutes, turning regularly.After cooking: Remove from the pan and allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving. This product should be cooked until piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
